The Cynoya is a structured independent living residence designed to provide stable, dignified housing for adults who are capable of living independently but face barriers to securing traditional housing. Our model serves justice-involved individuals, veterans, and others transitioning from institutional or unstable environments who need a safe, quiet place to re-establish routine, accountability, and personal stability. We operate as a non-medical, non-clinical residence and focus on maintaining a respectful living environment supported by clear house rules, personal responsibility, and consistent oversight.
Our residence offers private bedrooms within a shared home setting, with an emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and structure. Residents participate under a License to Occupy and Program Participation Agreement rather than a traditional lease, allowing us to maintain standards that protect both residents and referral partners. We work collaboratively with parole officers, case managers, reentry professionals, and veterans’ service providers to offer a housing option that supports successful reintegration, compliance with supervision requirements, and long-term housing stability.
